This privacy policy applies to the Gittim app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by İsmet BALAT (collectively, the "Application"). İsmet BALAT is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Gittim is a personal travel-map app. It does not require account creation or login, does not display advertisements, and does not offer any in-app purchases or subscriptions. The Application is designed to work offline and to keep your data on your own device.
The maps you create — the cities and countries you mark as visited, your lists, and their names and colours — are stored locally on your device using your device's standard app storage. This data is not transmitted to the Service Provider and is not accessible to the Service Provider.
The Application does not require you to provide any personally identifiable information, and the Service Provider does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location data, or similar personal information through the Application.
The Application lets you export your map as an image and share it using your device's standard share sheet (for example, to social media, messaging apps, or your photo library). When you share an image, it is handled entirely by your device and the destination you choose. The Service Provider does not receive, store, or process the images you create or share.
To render text, the Application may download fonts from Google Fonts the first time they are needed. When this happens, your device's IP address may be visible to Google as part of a standard web request. No other information about you or your usage is sent. The Application does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or similar tracking technologies to track you across apps or websites.
Because your travel-map data is stored only on your device, you remain in full control of it. You can edit or delete any list at any time within the Application, and uninstalling the Application removes all associated data from your device. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider does not sell or share personal information. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at ismet.balat@icloud.com.
The Application is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact ismet.balat@icloud.com.
Because the Application keeps your data on your own device rather than on the Service Provider's servers, the security of that data is primarily governed by the security of your device. The Service Provider provides reasonable safeguards for any information it processes.
The Application does not transmit your personal data to the Service Provider, so no international transfer of such data takes place. Any request made to a third-party service, such as Google Fonts, is handled by that service under its own privacy policy.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if new features (such as optional advertising or purchases) are introduced in a future version. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and previous versions will be made available upon request by contacting ismet.balat@icloud.com.
